Hi all,
I've started the left wing and cannot find the Figure 9 template to define
the lift strut fitting angle. Can anyone help me with this? (Original owner
built this much of the first wing.) It looks like this template is simply a
right triangle, so perhaps if someone could just verify that (it is a Rt
triangle) and send me the dimensions of it.
This is only going to be in pre-1999 kits (and MAMs), as it looks like they
changed to kit part (W-603) for the wing spar doubler at that time.
Thanks in advance,
-Ben /496R

Lonnie,
Thanks so much for digging thru to find it. Crazy that it turns out to just
be a 45 degree angle! (maybe not so crazy -- probably a reason)

Wing Figure 9 template
Somehow we must have got our wires crossed, as, looking at my completed wing
and the wing doubler template, 45 degrees (e.g. 5" each side, rt triangle)
didn't make sense. ANd if it were 45 degrees then my first perfect wing
would amount to ~$10 in scrap aluminum ...hate it when that happens. :)
Anyway, I called MAM to make sure on things. Angle is about 33-34 degrees
and I post that here on the off chance that someone might look someday and
take 45 by mistake.
