Rear Spar

Post by Jim Cole » Sat Feb 18, 2012 9:49 am

Another question came out of tonights build session. While I debated the
proseal question we went on to the rear spar. I have an original SR kit
and it's always interesting to try and coordinated the manual with the
Moose upgrade pieces. In going through it the manual calls for you to
remove the rear spar attach bracket and replace with new steel ones #713
and 714. I could only find 2 #714's and of course the original 522's, so
I went back to the shipping bills and #713 isn't listed at all. Is
there a 713 or do I use only the 714?

Thanks
Jim

I don't have the manual here but the upgraded brackets have several extra
mounting holes. You should have four of the new brackets, two for each side,
is what I recall. I will check the manual tomorrow, if no one responds.

You're right Al their are 4 old ones but only 2 new ones that arrived
with the upgrade so I'll have to take it up with Murphy. I just wanted
to make sure the manual is correct before I contacted them. I'm sure
their quite busy.

Cheers
