3500 Wing Skinning

Post by Reed Britt Civ OO-ALC/MAD » Sat Feb 18, 2012 9:46 am

Mike - Since you just finished this - HELP? I am riveting my wing skins and
was wondering what the sequence of events is to get that big doubler
integrated into everything - when do you backdrill the part of the doubler
that is not predrilled? - Do you just cleco the stringers while the ribs are
being located and the spar is drilled out? How did it go in general??

Thanks -- Britt - SR194

3500 Wing Skinning

Britt, mine were already on so no help. I can't remember if Al's wings
were done before he upgraded to the 3500 or not, of course he did it a long
time ago so may not be easy to recall.
