Hi guys,
Just finishing up my rear carrythrough/wing attach and the manual is
telling me to cut a strip from fus-62 raw stock to put across the bottom
of the two bulkheads to make a 'box' channel. I can't seem to find my
fus-62 but I do have some .020 and .025 raw stock I can make this strip
from. Can anyone tell me what thickness it's supposed to be? If it's
supposed to be .020 can I use .025? My .020 is 12 feet long and rolled
up but I( have an easier to manage 2' X 4' piece of .025.
Thanks!
Joel Jacobs

Question about fus-62 thickness
Question about fus-62 thickness
Hi Joel
According to Wray's spreadsheet, Fus-62 is a 7" x 48" piece of 0.020
stock so I would not hesitate to use 0.025

Question about fus-62 thickness
Thank you sir!
I had just figured it out by sleuthing through the manual to the section
on making the faring boxes where it said cut two strips of .020 material
(from FUS-62) ;)
I just went over to Wray's site and didn't see the spreadsheet. Does he
have it on the site?
Anyway, I found a piece of .020 big enough to use. It was a piece I
cut off the roof skin that overhung the fuselage side.
