exhaust set-up for 912

Thanks to Bob P., I spoke to Terry Cleland about my exhaust setup and he`s going to try and help me out. He did mention that he`s never fitted one to a Rebel so if anyone is ever interested he would make a prototype at a local airstrip anytime. Unfortunetly I`m too far away.

Anyways, I`m looking at a single muffler as recommended by Bob, but if anyone has any diagrams or even pics, as well as advice based on their experience, I`d appreciate it.

Terry has done mufflers for Zenair Zodiacs with 912's - should be a very
close match. The setup is a large tank behind the engine, with all cylinder
pipes comin into it, and one large pipe out the bottom. This is very quiet,
and gains about 2 HP. ....

Maybe he could send you a mockup of the Zenair muffler to bend to fit,
then send it back to him to weld ...
