Obviously no Murphys have been there yet then. :)
Last year I was at a local small fly-in, lots of humble but nice projects
there, and in comes a lancair IVp. The pilot gets out as the turbine spins
down and the smell of kerosene exhaust advertises his arrival. He seemed out
of place! He left after only 15minutes, and his plane was out of site
quickly in spite of good vis. I prefer my Rebel, thank you very much. (Yeah,
i know different strokes for different folks.)
BTW, if you have 5 minutes to kill and want to see that Murphy doesn't have a
lock on rough spots in their manual, read the following from a Lancair Legacy
Quickbuild builder ...long but damned funny:
