I had to put a litle pressure on the side of the fuselage up there to get
the clecos in place after I clecoed the front to the firewall but not a big
deal. Not sure I am following you if this is a different problem ??

When I placed the forward floor in today for the first time the firewall
is
curved so that there is a 3/16 gap at the center. ie; the side skins are
too
short for the shear webs. When I release the side skins the firewall is
flat
across the 4 shear webs but the side flanges of the firewall and the
forward
edges of the side skins become problematical. Has anyone else seen this
problem?

moose firewall/floor

Hi Jim,

I also had this problem. I had to trim 3.5" from both sides of the front
flange on forward floor sking, then rebuild the flange with some spare
angle. This allowed the new flange to angle back the 3/16" to match the side
skins. The firewall easily bends the 3/16" to line up.
