Use the "Aviation Acrythane", it is a polyurethan instead of a
"acrylic-urethan". More flexible, more chemical resistant.

*-------------------------------------------------------------------------*Hi Jean
For some reason there are no line returns when I try to reply to your
message, just very long sentances that go off the right side of my
screen forever, so I snipped your original message out.
I use little 1/2" wide acid brushes with the primer. About 10 of them
for a dollar. I wipe it with a rag, dip it in acetone, and wipe it again
between uses. I usually get the acetone for about cdn$14. per gallon
from Home Depot or a fibreglass supplier.
MAM has said a couple of times that it does not matter which side the
rivet goes in. I do whichever is easier just like you are suggesting.
However if I have a choice and I an joining a thick piece to a thin
piece I still like to insert the rivet from the thin side so the bigger
factory head is against the thin piece of aluminum. I am sure it doesn't
really matter though.
I appreciate your comments about Sico. Bob Johnson used Sico Acrythane I
think on his Rebel and I am thinking of doing the same. He also said the
flexibility of it was so good that he didn't think the flex agent was
needed. That is good because I've been told that the flex agent only
lasts for a couple of years anyway and I really don't want the paint to
peel off the flaperons...
