Passing this along for the benefit of other Elite builders.
Some excellent tips here, from a very experienced builder !

Hi Al

I looked up the seat install to refresh my memory and now remember how I did
it. Draw lines from side to side on the bulkhead centers using the
prepunched holes along the sides of the floor skins. On all four SA-27 seat
rails draw a line 1/4'' from both edges the full length for the rivet edge
distance 5/16'' edge distance does not work here. Place the outboard seat
rail so that the 1/4'' rivet line is 3/4'' inboard from the prepunched holes
in the floor (the ones that hold the bottom of the corner wrap and the floor
to the bulkheads). Set the fore and aft placement where you want it and
transfer the bulkhead center lines onto the seat rail. At this point I
remove the seat rails and drill out the holes for the bulkhead centres then
use the good old 1 1/4'' spacing to put the rest of the holes in the track
between the bulkhead centres. When I do this I set up one seat track and
drill it out then I clamp the other three to it one at a time back to back
and use it as a drill guide and back drill them saves a wack of time. Now
you can set your first track in place and drill out the rest of the holes.
to set the inboard seat rail put the seats on the tracks to set the spacing
line up the bulkhead centre lines through the predrilled holes and drill
away just make sure the seat is free to move first. From there drill up to
#30 debur rivet and all the stuff.

Don't follow the Rebel instructions - it has a completely different
floor structure from the Elite.
