Kit plane close to perfect for the Alaska Bush, fans say

Like Alaska's noble herbivore, Paul Erickson's Moose is large, muscular and
has a snoot that gets noticed. Ever since the Murphy Moose, an experimental
kit plane, began skidding around Campbell Lake on Aug. 1, curiosity has
gotten the best of many sky-lookers who have tapped Erickson's shoulder and
asked: "Say, what the heck is that thing?"
