Ramblers Return !!

Hi Ramblers !

Sorry for the delay - we slept for 2 days, then caught up
on laundry, etc. ....

The Ramblers returned to Brampton about 5:30 pm on Saturday,
July 19th, after a WONDERFUL 3 weeks of cross-country flying with a
GREAT group of fellow pilots !!! We were joined by several groups
of pilots along the way, and were pleased to share at least a part
of the joy of Rambling with them !

We hope Peter & Hazel, in BumbleBee, and John & Jo, in Indian,
are enjoying their extended Ramble vacations Out West - hope to see
them soon ! Wishing them at least as fast & safe a return flight as we
had ....

Our never-ending "THANKS ! " to all those wonderful people who
helped us along the way, welcomed us to their airports, and fed us
so well !

We're now getting ready to head out for Oshkosh, and the
Murphy Builders Get-together on Thursday night at the Beer Tent
on the road out from the Tower, past the Nature Park, about 7 pm.
Looks like we'll be DRIVING on Tuesday or Wednesday - just Toooo
much hassle with the transponder rules .... :-(

The Planning Meeting for Part II of Ramble 2003 will be
at Brampton RAA Clubhouse (north end of Brampton airport), on
Saturday, August 9th, at 11 AM. Again, we'll try to get everyone
on their way home by 3 or 4 pm latest. More details to follow.

We'll try to write a BRIEF summary of these FABULOUS 3 weeks
for those who couldn't make it, and post asap ....

Maybe we can all exchange photo albums at the next planning meeting !
We've just received some of ours - not very good this time, sadly...
Guess we'll just have to do it again soon !!! ;-) :-)
