that is completely wired up to a limit switch plate, that gets attached
under the end of the mixer arm on a Rebel/Elite, and the control toggle
switch for the panel (it also has the built in adjustable switches on the
unit if you wanted to use them instead). It also has the pivot mounting
block as well as the alum channels and everything as removed to mount it in
the area where the rear window would be. I removed it from a Rebel that I
bought / reworked / sold and shipped to Maui, as neither I nor the guy that
bought the airplane can stand electric flaps (but we've had that heated
discussion here before so lets no go there again!! ;o)) ! ) Had about 10
hours on it since installation.
It an SKF model CARL 22X50X1/D24B by one label on it and CAXB22x50 on
another. 24 volt model (so it runs 1/2 speed on 12 volts for a nice movement
speed!)

price here in Edmonton was 300 cdn plus shipping via ups, over 350 plus.
havecome in 12 & 24 volts are about 6 1/2 " long retracted and weigh 1.25 lbs
shuta 2" stroke (available in 2,4 & 6") and has builtin limiter switches that
rearoff and each end of stroke. Completely enclosed and have long life time of
cycles. They also have ones with potentometers (not spelled right) will
indicate their position on a meter. The one I saw in Bob,s plane was added
after completion. He mounted it parrell to the mixer bar and used another
bellcrank to keep the assembly under the window. I am not putting in a
madewindow so I will mount mine at 90* to the bar. Try running a search under
linear actuators on the internet. I'm at work right now but can get the
company name if you need it or can't find it on the internet. They were
rightby Warner Elec. but now distributed by another company. Name escapes me
fromnow.
