As I went through the same problem, I'll try to describe it to you.
It is the whole FUS-27 that does not ly flat on a table because as the bent
flange lies in a circunference the metal has to do give out some way .
Last year MMorelho699@aol.com sent a nice picture of , I think his son,
holding a good sample on how and what to do with FUS-27. I received the
message on June 18, 1998.
I have the message on another computer so today I can not send you the
picture, but I shalldo it on Monday.

To all builders,

We are building a SR2500 and have arrived at the Fuselage Root Rib (FUS
27). The manual says to shrink or crimp the top flange of the FUS 27 so it
will lay flat. The flange should be 90 degrees to the side.
Does anyone have any suggestions as to how this should be done?

Any ideas would be helpful...
