Next Rebel Builders Meeting - SAT. May 10th

It's that time again !!! This SATURDAY !!!
(Moved to avoid Mothers Day !)

The next Rebel Builders of Ontario Meeting is SATURDAY, May 10th,
at 1:00 pm. at the RAA-TR Clubhouse at the far north end of Brampton Airport.
(North-West of Toronto, Ontario, Canada) (CNC3)

Sending this out a little closer to the meeting, in the hope
that more of you will remember and come out on Sunday !! :-)

There will be a different meal after this one !! The RAA-TR
chapter is having the Pot-Luck Chilli Bash starting about 6 pm,
so bring an appetite !! It's pot-luck - NO CHARGE 'IF' you bring
chili, or salad, or desert, or rolls, or wine, or .... Otherwise
a 'suggested' donation of $5 will do the trick !! There will be
wine & 'brown pop' available ! Come prepared for a FUN evening !! :-)
(and stay over if you want !)

Dave Fife, (with his <lighted> Hoerner wing tips ??) will be driving
or FLYING in with Curt Martin, WE HOPE ! Hope to see them ! I think Dave
is still looking for Elite builders to help with tip fitting
for those kits - first one gets a deal ! ;-) He is already
working on a set for the Super/Moose - we might see those.

If the weather's good, we might see Angus McKenzie, with some
brochures for his STOL kits. He tells me that the McKenzie STOL kits are now
available for the Super Rebel/Moose (about $2,700) - get your orders in ...
(The McKenzie STOL kit for the Rebel/Elite is still only $1,800 USD. )
Unfortunately, Wayne O'Shea won't be able bring down some goodies for
us to buy - it's his chapter's Young Eagles day !

We REALLY hope the weather will be good, so we can see a
bunch of "Fly-In" Rebels/Elites/Meeses/whatevers !! This is the last
Builders Meeting until September - although we'll have a fly/drive-in
Builders Visit in June (maybe Saturday the 7th ?), and the Ramble(s)
all summer !! :-)

Keep working on that Rebel, 'cause we're planning a "BIG ONE"
(Rebel Ramble that is !) for 2003 - the plan is to dip a toe in BOTH Oceans !!
(Well, alright - TWO out of the THREE Canadian oceans ! The other one
is just toooo cold !! :-) )
Think about 'airplane pooling', renting, or maybe block time .....
beg or borrow a 'plane, but come along !! You don't want to miss THIS ONE !!!

We'll also have some new guests & Rebel builders, and another draw
for Rebel T-Shirts, or Rebel Coffee Mugs, Rebel hats etc. ....

It has been suggested that we pick one key topic for each meeting,
far enough ahead that builders can round up articles, photos, and
pieces to show - soooooo .... we need your suggestions for topics
for the next meeting.
