Finally after so many years of other prioties I am ready to take the plunge!
I am going to order a Murphy kit even though a close friend is a BushCaddy
dealer. I think I would perfer the Elite over the Rebel becuse of the extra
room and the plane will be used for amph float flying. Can you Elite owners
tell me why you choosed the Elite over the Rebel. Can the $10000.00 cost be
justified bewteen the two planes?
Thanks
old but newbie

ELITE OR REBEL
ELITE OR REBEL
I chose the Elite for the following reasons:
1. The all metal construction of the Elite
2. I wanted a trike so that really made my decision
3. It is a little beefier and has the 1800 lb gross weight
I feel that it was the right choice for me. At the time I bought it I had
also thought that I would put the 180 hp in it but I have instead purchased
a O-320 through Wayne.
If money was no object I wish I could have gotten the quick build kit.
Good luck on your decision.
Regards
Ralph Knight Elite E657
