Yes, It is complete FWF. It has 300 hrs. flight time on it. It also includes
the cowling. The setup is currently on a wrecked Rebel. It has the Airflow
Performance setup on it.
The man who built it said it was a great engine. It has a Warp drive one
blade on it currently :), prop strike claimed the other two. I checked the
engine and it seemed to turnover fine.
I have know idea what this may be worth? Any idea?
How many hours are these engines expected to reach before OH?

Sounds like he's done all the R&D involved in getting it set up for a Rebel.
Cooling cowling ect. The prop strike at idel landing I presume is probably no
big thing to the engine with the carbon fiber prop. Not like an aluminum prop
where it would transfer all the tourqe back to the crank.

I have know idea what this may be worth? Any idea?


He paid about 15K for it new. Don't be afraid to insult him offer him $3500
and if you
can get it for $6000 it's probably a good deal. Tell him you've heard the
Ross redrive has been known to have problems. And now this one has a prop
strike and will probably have to be replaced with a new redrive and Ross is
out of buissnes. So you'll have to get a diferant make of redreive. So the
R&D of fitting a radiator and cowling start all over again.
How many hours are these engines expected to reach before OH?
They where advertised at 1000Hr, But that was being very conservative.
Whith proper oil change and maintinence you should get 2000Hr.

If you want to talk to some folks who have re-done Formula
Power engines so they WORK in a Rebel, you could try:

I've flown one that they fixed up, and it has been flying a
Rebel on amphibs in Newfoundland for over 6 years !!

If you can get one, the Marcotte re-drive from Quebec might
