I sure wouldn't bother with the complication of aileron trim - in
any case, you'd have to do one on each aileron !! This would add weight to
the ailerons, and necessitate mass balance changes - inviting flutter !!

The Super Rebel is plenty light on the ailerons, and, like the Rebel,
you can easily pick up a wing with rudder. The chances are that your
Super Rebel will fly hands-off anyway .....

Worst case, a little adjusting of the wing-tip angles can do
dramatic things. (As might the new Hoerner tips from Dave Fife :-) !)

Rebels generally are nowhere near the speed range of RV's, and
have a fat wing, so rolling the trailing edges on the ailerons is
unlikely to have much effect, other than work-hardening the aluminum...

Reference the the inflight aerodynamic balance, I'm considering installing
an
electric trim (MAC 4A)
for aileron trim. I will be installing electric trim for rudder when I get
around to
retrofitting.
Question; will the rudder trim by itself be able to take care of a heavy
wing
problem?
I'm thinking maybe I won't need both units. I don't have any experience in
light a/c
(engine torque) in this regard.
We trim out the big jets by using rudder only keeping the bank within 11/2
degrees
to zero the ailerons and minimize drag.
