Re: Floatplane engine falling off

Regarding the video ... what is the reason to make approach or touch & go without flaps down?
I can understand not full deflection (touch & go) but is there any reason for no flaps?
Thank you

Re: N25SR First Flight Video

Nice.
We had yesterday finally first day in this year with weather ... maybe not good, but well, I went to sky anyway.
Ground OK, but from 500ft and above bad west wind, 35 knots and more.

Re: N25SR is a Tax Paying Citizen

Btw. do you have exact color numbers?
I am, step by step, preparing all necessary information for future.
My color livery will be exactly the same.

Re: N25SR is a Tax Paying Citizen

I am keeping fingers Jerry.
We have bad weather here as well, but different sort of. Nearly no winter, unusually warm 5-9 Celsius during day, rainy, low clouds and fog, low visibility, permanent IMC. Maybe two days ready for flying since end of November 2017
Have a nice day

Re: REBEL or not?

Regarding aircraft I've posted above I've found following info: The ULBI Wild Thing is a German ultralight aircraft, designed by R. Kurtz and produced by Ultraleicht Bau International (ULBI), of Hassfurt. The aircraft was supplied as a kit for amateur construction or as a complete ready-to-fly-aircr...

Re: REBEL or not?

G'day ( from Australia ) Jenki ! Yep ..... I've seen two different aircraft that I would call "Rebel Clones" also !!! They both had MANY design features that were virtually IDENTICAL to a Rebel ( design / layout, size and ratio of components, even down to spacing of rivet lines !!! ) ..... but then...

REBEL or not?

Hi boys, I've found following aircraft at the airport Vrsar (LDPV) and it looks like Rebel... but they told me it is not Rebel... I don't understand, but they are speaking about German construction but for me, it is simply REBEL, all details are simply Rebel. Engine is Jabiru, aircraft is more parki...
