I hate removing and refitting the stab. Your wife and mine would have a lot to discuss as I spent most of my long build time on my own so my amazing wife had to learn about a lot of things like how to rivet.

I rented a mobile scaffold. Very easy, simply assemble it to the exact height and roll into position. Make minor adjustments with blocks of wood.

I agree on the removable stick, both of mine can be removed with one pin and a 17 pin cannon connector in 30 seconds

After having flown a lot of aircraft over many years, I am still surprised every now and then to find water (or something else) in the fuel. A water drain takes a few seconds in a pre-flight and after every refuel and my belief is that it is always worthwhile. Make sure you are using water detecting...
