Well since we are on Pitot tubes I have a question about mine. It points about 10 deg up from level when in level flight. My ASI always indicates low. I am going to assume this is probably it as I have done a leak check and Manometer check.

You can try filling the compartment with water. wait a while and if you can't see anything take a colour paper towel and press it against the rivets and seams

In the 10+ years of having my rebel I have never had one drop of water in my drains. Just wondering if that is normal for everyone. I use mogas and it is kept outside during the summer.

Had a auto light dimming issue on my Davtron gauge a few years ago. I emailed them and they told my how to wire it so the digits were on max all the time. Not sure if the icom auto dims or not but if it does that circuit might be intermittent and probably easily jumpered across.

Interesting article in the latest Sport Aviation Mag. Sounds like his battery caused a lot of wiring corrosion which caused an electrical failure. He made some huge mistakes but maybe with an Odyessy he might not of ever encountered that problem.

I found the best way to blow corrosion X or other sprays into hard to get place is use one of the high volume air nozzles and spray the product into the slot or hole of the nozzles. Creates a pretty good mist.
