Re: New Rebel Builder

Welcome to the addiction Tom! I did the same thing in 1993 without ever seeing a Rebel in person! At least one builder in Washington state on Amphibs.. probably a few more.

Re: Nut plate with countersunk rivet holes

You could probably clamp them in a vice and counter sink them a little larger to accept the dimples. Another option would be to use clip nuts instead, that I was selling to the lads a few years back. Re: Hardware name?

Closest thing I can come up with to call it is a Gudgeon Clip. You're looking for a spring clip with two tabs to stick in each side of the nut castlation? Why not just drill thru the pivot bolt and use a cotter pin?

Re: Hardware name?

I think you're looking for a "PTO" pin Drew. Pin and a semicircle lock bail. Saw a good selection last time I was in TSC.

Forgot to reply... have none! Sorry.

An old habit of reading the emails and responding to them later. The step of having to come into the forum to reply just gets lost some days..

Now there's a shot for the photo album!! I have mine with all three kids sitting in the fuselage, in 1994, with Daryl holding a flight sim yoke in his hands!
