I did not have a parts list when installing the tips. The tips are very light and flexible so I extended all the stringers just to keep the fiberglass from oil canning in flight.
The tips actually fit the wing very well. Happy building!
Thanks for the compliments!

Re: MAM factory extended wing tips
MAM's extended droop tips are about 23" wide and do require structural support. They are nice quality and lighter than the stock tips. This is the stock tips next to the droop tips. I have the Hoerner style molds that were originally built by Robert Karrow, hope to build some this summer. Currently ...

Re: Really liking this Rebel
Nice airstrip! Rebel looks good on the 29's, good 3 point landing in the snow.

Re: Cleaning up aluminum skin
The print is easily removed with acetone. If you want it totally gone an etch would work if you rinse it to death to insure removing it all out of the rivet heads. Having a polished plane for years I don't believe there is a low effort finish to polish it. With all the pull rivets in a Murphy I woul...

Re: Droop Wing Tip internal support
Monty, I am still laughing..... MAM was very fast getting my tips. But there were no instructions, suggestions or parts with it. I fabricated all my pieces. I overlapped them under the skin but on top of the spars and stringers. I ended up putting the stringers more like a U-shape than a J- shape. I...

Re: Droop Wing Tip internal support
Gary, Nice fiberglass work. I am fitting droop tips on my Rebel. I sort of copied what was done on a Moose. The trailing edge was flexible on mine as well so I added a second support connected to the original one just for alignment purposes. The main spar I used .040, rear spar is .032. It replaces ...
