Re: Ron Shannon

I actually hosted Ron's site years ago, and the directory is still setup on the server... however it is empty. I also checked the mysql databases, and there are none related to his site, so don't believe he ever had the Drupal site setup on my system. If you can tell me what release of Drupal 6 it w...

Re: Calling any PA/NJ/DE/NY Owners/Builders

Clicking on an existing pin will bring up a pop up with their username and coordinates... map4.jpg Clicking on their username in the pop up will load that user's profile page, where you have the option to message them through the site or send email to them through the site. map5.jpg All of this requ...

Re: Calling any PA/NJ/DE/NY Owners/Builders

A quick reminder of how to use the user map to share your location or find users near you. Near the top left of the page under the logo is a link to the user map. map3.jpg The map is interactive, so you can drag it around and zoom in and out to see the area that you are interested in. map1.jpg Once ...

Re: High Sierra Fly-in

The race between Trent Palmer in his Freedom Fox and Mark Patey in his Carbon Cub EX was incredible! Of course Mike Patey & Draco stole the show.

Mike's videos of the Draco build are definitely worth watching... here's the first one.

Good time to remind everyone, that you cannot reply via email. This is a forum site, not an email list server. You must click on the link at the bottom of the email and post your replies via the web site.

Leon,

Check your spelling... you have the email listed as murtech@murhyair.com... should be murtech@murphyair.com... notice the missing "p".

Re: Invitation

I just had a nice conversation with Gerry on the phone. Bottom line, the MAOA and I want the same thing in the end... a functional resource of good information sharing for our builders. I don't know what path this website will take as time goes on... as you know, I am looking to step back, but will ...

Re: Invitation

I'll put this as simply as I can. I do not claim any copyright to the content on this website that was posted there by anyone other than myself. The fact that I left the ability for all of you to delete or edit your own posts demonstrates that I leave that ownership to the original poster. And as fo...

Re: Invitation

Thanks for the vote of support Jerry, but I honestly feel that what is important in the end is that the users/builders end up with a website that is of use to them. I am aware of the concerns with this current site... I looked long and hard for the best solution I could find, and even setup a test s...

Re: Getting Started

MAM put out a "recommended" work bench. I built mine using their plans with a few modifications, and have been happy with it.

Next time I go back to my class reunion at the Academy in Mexico I'll have to look you up Jerry. We used to play Bowling Green in sports.
