What thickness is ST-40 for angle brackets? I am assuming.032, but would rather know. :)

For those who have made there cowling from aluminum - How thick of aluminum did you use for the flat sheet and for the channels? How would you do it different next time? Approximately how much did it weigh?

The previous builder of my project primed all of the insides, and rivets before setting them. He planned (as I do) to keep the outside unpainted polished aluminum. Should I have been able to find this out in the plans? This meaning 1601 series is the 1410? I haven't been too successful googleing.. :( I did find this site https://www.rivetsonline.com/documents/ ... igrips.pdf which has different numbers.

Are the Murphy rivet numbers like RV 1410, etc manufactures number as well as part number? I have not been able to find the 1400 series, nor any that start with RV. Is there a cross reference listing ? Where do you buy your rivets in the US? Sorry if discussed before, I can't get into the archives. ...
