The previous builder of my project primed all of the insides, and rivets before setting them. He planned (as I do) to keep the outside unpainted polished aluminum. He did however add epoxy to the rivet heads.... did he do this due to concern with the mandrel? Is the mandrel plain steel, I had though...

Are the Murphy rivet numbers like RV 1410, etc manufactures number as well as part number? I have not been able to find the 1400 series, nor any that start with RV.
